HDGA March Monthly at Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden – Sunday, March 31st, 2019.
Players Meeting on Sunday: 9:30am at the Nui Campground Pavilion. Drive all the way into the botanical garden; just follow the main road.
We will also have the course open for play on Friday afternoon, March 29, and all day on Saturday, March 30th. See individual schedules below.
Parking Pass for the Weekend:
Make sure to stop in at the Visitor’s Center on your way into the park and pick up a parking pass for the day or weekend. All cars in the park must be out by 4:00pm, unless you have a parking pass. There are 2 additional exit times after 4:00pm, and 1 additional entrance time after 4:00PM, however in all cases you MUST already have a parking pass to enter or exit the park after 4:00PM.

Gate to the park opens daily at 9:00AM (sometimes they will open the gate maybe 10-15 minutes early)
Gate to the park closes daily at 4:00PM SHARP (all car remaining in the park after 4:00PM MUST have a parking pass
Gate is open for ENTRANCE and EXIT between 5:30PM-6:30PM daily (for vehicles with parking permit only)
Gate is open from 9:00PM-9:15PM for EXIT ONLY
Please note: There will be a $10 fee per player for use of the facilities at Ho’omaluhia, plus insurance, and the fee also covers you for all three days and includes CAMPING: Friday, Saturday, and the monthly on Sunday. For casual play there is no other fee to pay on Saturday, however if you wish to participate in the organized singles or doubles round on Saturday, or the monthly on Sunday, there are additional fees.

Course should be ready for open play by 12:30-1:00pm, and will close around 4:00PM. If you would like to come out and help us setup the course, we plan on showing up around 10:00am. All are welcome!

You can reserve a C&C campsite at Ho’omaluhia up to two (2) weeks in advance. Campsites are made available every Friday at 5:00 p.m. (Hawaii Standard Time). Camping permits are usually good for three (3) nights (Fri, Sat, & Sun) and accommodate up to ten (10) persons. The cost for the C&C permit is thirty-two (32) dollars for a three day campground and fifty-two (52) dollars for a five day campground. Online payment by VISA or MASTERCARD will be accepted through PAYPAL. Refunds will not be available.
PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT:
The Honolulu Disc Golf Association follows the PDGA Players Code of Conduct, whereby all players are expected to behave in a professional and sportsmanlike manner while participating in any HDGA events. Any conduct deemed to be unprofessional is subject to disqualification by the Tournament Director.
